Country To Couture | Tue 6 August, 2024

First Nations fashion and textiles collide in a colourful showcase of wearable art and fashion and textile design across two runways. Supported by the Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company and iconic Australian lifestyle brand Country Road, Country to Couture celebrates the marriage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary fine art and high-end fashion, with 21 unique collections. National Indigenous Fashion Awards (NIFA) | Wed 7 August, 2024

The NIFA provides a vibrant and exciting platform to recognise and celebrate the innovation, diversity and ethical practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and fashion designers across seven categories, whilst contributing to the capacity building of the sector. NIFA is supported by the Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company, with thanks to Principal Media Partner NITV and industry partners Canberra Centre, Eastland, QIC, Country Road, Helen Kaminski and RMIT. 18th Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) Public Program and Online | 9-11 August, 2024

DAAF provides a space to meet and learn from over 75 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community Art Centres from across Australia. Coming together over three days on Larrakia Country each August, artists from the most remote desert and coastal regions, to rural and urban communities come together to share their art with audiences worldwide. The Fair is free to attend from the 9-11 August.
