Kippa-ring Shopping Centre is located within the central hub of the Peninsula of Kippa-ring approximately 28km north of the Brisbane CBD. The centre commenced trading during 1974 and has undergone a number of changes since that time. In 2001 Woolworths entered the centre as anchor tenant along with approximately 45 specialty stores.
The centre also includes a commercial centre including the Redcliffe Peninsula Medical Centre, National Australia Bank, TAB, as well as dental and solicitor services. Kippa-ring Shopping Centre completed a $60million redevelopment in October 2013, which provided a brand new Centre of nearly 12,500 sqm with an expanded Woolworths supermarket, Gold's Gym and approximately 40 specialty stores.
